Tullamore D.E.W. 18 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a triple-distilled whiskey that is aged for at least 18 years in ex-Bourbon barrels. It is then finished in four different cask Type:s: Oloroso sherry butts, port pipes, and Madeira drums. This unique aging process imparts a complex and flavorful whiskey with notes of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
The whiskey has a rich, amber color and a complex aroma with notes of dried fruits, nuts, and spices. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy with flavors of caramel, toffee, and dried fruits. The finish is long and lingering, with a touch of sweetness and spice.
