Description

Tullamore D.E.W. 14 Year Old Single Malt is a triple-distilled Irish single malt whiskey aged for at least 14 years in ex-Bourbon barrels. It is then finished in four different cask Type:s: Oloroso sherry butts, port pipes, and Madeira drums, for a minimum of 6 months. This process imparts a complex and rich flavor profile, with notes of ripe orchard fruits such as apples and apricots, sweet citrus, and hints of tropical fruit, all enveloped in a vanilla oak presence. On the palate it is smooth and sweet, with layers of fruit, oak, and subtle spice. The finish is lingering with a fruity sweetness.
