TRAPICHE Medalla Malbec is a high-end Argentine red wine, created to celebrate the centenary of the Trapiche winery. It is made with selected Malbec grapes from specific vineyards in Mendoza, Argentina, and is aged in new French oak barrels for 18 months, followed by 6 months of bottle aging. This wine is characterized by its intense purple color with violet hues and its concentrated aromas of ripe red fruits such as plums, cherries, and raisins, enhanced by notes of toast, coconut, and vanilla from its oak aging. On the palate, it presents a sweet entry, soft and intense tannins that provide creaminess, volume, and meatiness. The ripe fruit flavors are perfectly integrated with spicy and smoky notes from the wood, leaving a pleasant and persistent finish.
