ZD Chardonnay Napa is an elegant and distinctive Californian white wine, crafted from Chardonnay grapes sourced from the cool coastal Region:s of Napa and Sonoma Carneros, Monterey, and Santa Barbara. The grapes, often from certified organic vineyards, are hand-harvested at night to preserve their freshness and fermented in American oak barrels at cool temperatures. This process, combined with the absence of malolactic fermentation, results in a Chardonnay with bright acidity and an exceptional balance between rich fruit and toasted oak notes. The wine is aged for approximately ten months in American oak barrels, adding complexity and a lush texture. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe tropical fruits like pineapple and apricot, along with hints of vanilla, pear, and honey. On the palate, it is full-bodied and presents intense flavors of tropical fruits, apple, and citrus, integrated with toasted oak notes and a refreshing acidity that leads to a long and persistent finish with touches of crème brûlée and vanilla.
