ZAFRA Master Reserve 21 Year is a premium aged rum from Panama, crafted by the renowned master blender Don Pancho Fernández. This rum is a blend of select rums, aged for a minimum of 21 years in American bourbon barrels. It is distinguished by its delicate, sweet, and intricately enjoyable flavor profile. On the nose, it reveals notes of tea, moist dates, subtle hints of allspice, caramelized honey, soft wood spice, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, all these aromas come through with incredible acumen, evolving to include maple-glazed brown bread, clove, cinnamon, butterscotch, and nutmeg. The finish fades away smoothly, leaving notes of sweet leather, well-aged tobacco, dark wood, and warming baking spices. It is recommended to enjoy neat or on the rocks.
