XICARU Mezcal Silver 102 Proof 750 ml is a high-proof artisanal joven (white) mezcal produced in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is made with 100% wild Espadín agave, which is cooked in conical earthen ovens with mesquite and ocote wood for five days before natural fermentation in pine vats. This mezcal is double-distilled in copper pot stills, selecting a narrower cut from the heart of the distillate to concentrate its characteristics, resulting in a bolder and more robust flavor. It is distinguished by its intense notes of cooked agave and smoke, accompanied by hints of citrus peel and fresh green herbs, with a light mineral undertone. Its high Alcohol Content: (51% ABV) gives it a potent character that stands out both when sipped neat and in cocktails that require a more full-bodied agave base.
