WATERLOO Yaupon Gin, also known as Waterloo Old Yaupon Gin, is an American Old Tom style gin crafted by Treaty Oak Distilling in Dripping Springs, Texas. This gin is distinguished by the inclusion of the Yaupon Holly plant, native to North America, along with other botanicals such as Makrut lime, anise, and orris root. Each batch is lightly sweetened with Texas wildflower honey, giving it a unique and complex flavor. The nose presents intense citrus and herbal notes, with a prominent aroma of Makrut lime leaves. On the palate, it offers an explosion of lemon and lime leaf flavors, with mentholated and camphoraceous nuances evolving into notes of pine and dark honey. The finish is slightly tannic with a touch of astringency.
