Tulchan Gin is a light-style London Dry Gin, handcrafted in small batches in Speyside, Scotland. It is distinguished by being more subtle in juniper than many other gins, allowing other Scottish botanicals to shine through. The gin captures the essence of the Tulchan Estate, surrounded by extensive pristine moors, lochs, and valleys, incorporating typical Scottish flora such as sloe berries and other wild botanicals.
On the nose, it presents tantalizing aromas of soft juniper, lemon and orange peels, coriander, and faint floral notes. On the palate, it offers an initial sweetness with abundant candied citrus peels, followed by resin, cardamom, licorice, and coriander. Its finish is medium in length, with notes of kumquat and lemon curd, maintaining a subtle and intricate sweetness.
