This 10-year-old bourbon is aged in Vermont oak barrels that have been specially toasted: the head on one end (“snout”) receives a medium toast (VT Oak #1) and the head on the other end (“tail”) is toasted with smoked maple wood (VT Oak #2). During aging, the barrels are rotated 180 degrees so that the liquid interacts with both Type:s of toasting, seeking unmatched flavor complexity. Bottled at 88 proof (44% ABV), this bourbon offers a smooth yet bold experience with rich notes and distinctive flavor layers.
