Description

Gekkeikan Haiku Sake is a premium sake that is classified as a Tokubetsu Junmai. This “tokubetsu” meaning special. It refers to the higher than standard care that is given to the rice. It is made using rice that is polished to 60%. This results in a crisp refreshing sake, with lightly herbal notes, and fruity hints, such as pear and apple. It has a well balanced acidity, and a semi dry finish.
