Highland Park Freya is the third of six releases in the Valhalla Collection, a limited series of Highland Park single malt whiskies inspired by Norse gods. Freya, the goddess of love, beauty, fertility, gold, seiðr, war, and death in Norse mythology, lends her name to this 15-year-old whisky. This release is distinguished by its rich and complex flavor palette, resulting from its maturation in first-fill American oak casks and sherry-seasoned European oak casks. It offers intense notes of ripe tropical fruits, sweet vanilla, warm spices, and Highland Park’s signature heather peat smoke, all enveloped in a smooth and silky texture. It is presented in a distinctively designed bottle within a wooden frame evoking the prow of a Viking longship.
