Ardbeg Uigeadail Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 750mL

Uigeadail - pronounced 'Oog-a-dal' - takes its name from the loch on Islay that has supplied water to Ardbeg distillery for centuries. This premium expression has been created from specially selected casks from 1990, 1993 plus much older, sherry cask-matured Ardbeg. The resulting malt is true to the 'house style' but with an additional luscious richness.
Rich with smoky aromatics, a beguiling mix of warm Christmas cake, walnut oil and parma violets fuse with fresh ocean spice, cedar and pine needles. A smouldering smoky coal fire and well-oiled leather bring warmth. Treacle toffees and chocolate-coated raisins bring indulgence through the smoke. With water, the deep smokiness increases like a Christmas pudding on fire. Tarry smoke and diesel oil bring smells of an age past. Rich currants and warm banana and walnut bread sit with mocha espresso
